Homemade Silly Putty with Starch Liquid

Ingredients

Two cups glue

One cup liquid starch

A few drops of food coloring (optional)

Bowl

One Tablespoon Water

Wax paper

Instructions

Take a bowl and pour 2 cups of glue in it. Make sure the bowl is such that the adhesive does not spill. Now, add one tablespoon water and mix well.

When you are mixing slowly with one hand, add the liquid starch glue and stir it continuously.

If you wish, you can add food coloring at this point. After the dough is thick, you will not get your desired color. If you want different colored putty, you can divide the contents into small bowls and add different colors in it.

Keep on stirring the mixture of starch paste until it reaches the desired consistency. You may have to use your hands to knead properly. Wear gloves and remove as much water as you can from the mixture.

If you feel that the mixture has become too sticky, you can add a little liquid starch to it. Knead with your hands, as it should be a thick paste. Put on waxed paper and seal it in a plastic bag.
